When I first started online several years ago, I soon realized that it was possible to make money online. One of my dreams was that I wanted to stay home and work. I started searching around to find out how I could make money online. I looked at everything...MLM, gifting, PTC and a host of other goofy programs.
I did join several MLM programs over time and had mild success, but if the individuals on my team didn't make their millions overnight, they would drop out and I would have to start all over again. Talk about chasing your tail.
Then I came in contact with Affiliate Marketing. I don't remember how, but after discovering what affiliate marketing was all about, it sounded like something I wanted to do. I thought to myself, this is perfect! I could sell someone else's stuff and not be bothered with accounting, customer service and none of the headaches that come with owning your own products and services.
The very first product I purchased was "The Insider Secrets to Marketing Your Business On the Internet" by the late Corey Rudl. It was delivered to my front door. It was a two volume set of 3 ring binder books. This thing was huge. I went through the material, but it was just too much for someone starting out.
After not being able to wrap my mind around such an enormous work, I started to purchase every ebook that flew in my inbox about affiliate marketing thinking I would eventually find the right thing to help a newbie affiliate marketer out. I did take action, but most of those ebooks were nothing but hype and lies. These people were making money selling people like me their crap.
I was just about to throw in the towel and decided to read one more email about someone claiming to help me be successful as an affiliate marketer. I was impressed because my name was even in the email! I thought, how cool (I didn't know about autoresponders at that time). The email was about a book called the "Super Afffiliate Handbook" by Rosalind Gardner. The sales page was not 30 pages long and it was very easy to read. For some reason it felt right to make the purchase. Turned out I was very pleased with what I discovered.
Rosalind Gardner's ebook went into great details on how to build a profitable Internet business in affiliate marketing. She understood how to help the newbie affiliate marketer. I followed along and started making some sales. I couldn't wait to show my family my first check because most of them never believed in it anyway. But I still luv em. They're believers now ;-) I'm no Rosalind Gardner, but I do make great money online, thanks to her knowledge.
Ok, enough about me.
Her ebook is frequently revised and updated to reflect industry changes. The Super Affiliate Handbook now consists of 235 pages and 116 screenshots that will show you step-by-step how to become a successful affiliate marketer.
You'll learn how important it is to make a plan for your business, and how to effectively market affiliate products.
You'll also learn how to install a blog, pick the most lucrative programs, negotiate a commission rate and save time, money and effort on everything from affiliate software to web hosting.
I gained so much knowledge from Rosalind Gardner that a couple of years ago I took a blogging course she was offering and I also now have a couple of successful blogs.
Thanks Ros!
